## Description

You will be a Senior Staff Emulation Engineer at Synopsys, working on emulation strategies for high-speed interfaces like PCIe and DDR.

You have spent years in ASIC verification and understand that emulation is crucial for shipping complex IP on time. You know PCIe and DDR inside out, including corner cases and errata.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Bridging the gap between Emulation IP capabilities and Design IP verification needs

- Defining technical requirements for Emulation IP

- Tracking and reporting key metrics on Emulation IP quality, performance, and coverage

- Staying ahead of evolving PCIe and DDR standards

- Reviewing and validating test plans for Emulation IP and Design IP

- Collaborating cross-functionally with verification, design, product, and platform teams

- Mentoring engineers on emulation strategies and verification techniques

You will have a significant impact on:

- Accelerating time to market for high-performance IP

- Elevating product quality across Synopsys IP portfolios

- Driving adoption of best-in-class emulation and verification methodologies

- Influencing the next generation of emulation solutions and workflows

- Improving cross-functional collaboration and alignment between teams

- Standardizing verification workflows and metrics

Requirements include:

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in emulation, pre-silicon verification, or IP product development

- Expert-level knowledge of PCIe or DDR interfaces

- Extensive experience with Zebu or similar emulation platforms

- Proven track record leading IP product development initiatives

- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in matrixed, global teams

- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction
