## Description

We are seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our Estates and Facilities Team in Dartford. The successful applicant will work 25 hours per week, between Monday and Friday, 13:00-18:00. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring our hygiene standards are met in line with New NHS Cleaning Guidelines.

**Main duties of the job**

- Complete daily shift plan to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met

- Conduct weekly departmental performance monitoring

- Maintain a patient-focused service across clinical areas

- Undertake general cleaning and related domestic tasks to a high standard

- Work as part of the Hotel Services team with ward managers on all aspects of ward cleaning and hygiene

- Ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with the Trust's waste disposal policy

- Remove rubbish to designated collection points

**Requirements**

- Previous cleaning experience

- Basic knowledge of National Cleaning Standards

- Verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work without direct supervision
