## Description

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders to their doorsteps. You will be the face of Sainsbury's at every delivery, providing a thoughtful, friendly, and helpful service.

Your main duties will include:

- Delivering groceries to customers on time and in great condition using a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van

- Completing checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean, and organised

- Following planned routes and driving safely in various locations and conditions

- Moving containers weighing up to 15kg and delivering shopping to different types of properties

- Communicating effectively with customers, including keeping them informed of any delays or changes to their order

- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring customers feel valued

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A full UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 points, held for at least 12 months

- The ability to drive a larger vehicle safely in different locations

- Physical fitness to move shopping containers weighing up to 15kg

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently

- Flexibility and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges
