## Description

We are seeking an Instructional Aide to join our team at Capital City Sports Academy, a public charter school serving EK-8 students in Southeast Columbus. As an Instructional Aide, you will assist teachers with classroom activities, promote positive student behaviors, and help maintain a safe and positive school climate.

Responsibilities:

- Support lessons taught by teachers to individual students or groups

- Help plan classroom activities as directed by teachers

- Assist with school events, such as parent-faculty nights and assemblies

- Perform clerical duties, including grading papers and making copies

- Assist teachers with classroom technology

- Maintain classroom cleanliness

- Implement the school's philosophy and mission statement

- Other duties as assigned

Performance Expectations:

- Work cooperatively with teachers and others

- Follow directives from administrators and teachers

- Contribute to a positive school culture

Requirements:

- Associate degree or two years of college coursework

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Successful completion of BCI/FBI check

- Ability to meet educational standards

- Ability to work well under pressure

- Understanding and ability to manage confidential information

- High-quality written and verbal communication skills

- Physical ability to lift 25-40 lbs.

- Experience in a school or social services setting is a plus
