## Description

The Boeing Company's Commercial Airlines (BCA), SWI (Seat Wire Integration) Electrical Design organization is seeking an Associate Wiring Design and Installation Engineer (Level 2) in North Charleston, South Carolina.

As an Associate Wiring Design and Installation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining the future of commercial aerospace with innovative ideas that advance the culture of safety and quality. Your primary focus will be on 787 seats and interiors, where you will develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs for advanced Commercial Aircraft.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and maintaining critical electrical cable/wire harness installation, detail, and assembly designs

- Defining the physical routing layout of wire routing throughout the airplane, considering wire supports and brackets, separation for physical and functional safety, and environmental impacts

- Analyzing engineering design disposition on discrepancies and collaborating with factory floor partners to ensure efficient and safe designs

- Following and improving documented processes, specifications, and procedures for safe and quality design and manufacture of electrical commodities

- Participating in technical reviews of supplier capabilities and source selection

- Working under the supervision of a lead engineer and experienced mentor to enhance technical learning and career growth

This position is expected to be 100% onsite in North Charleston, South Carolina.

**Pay & Benefits:** The salary range for this position is $91,800 - $124,200.
