## Description

We are seeking a Test Development Engineer to join our team, which focuses on accelerating innovation in high-speed optical transceiver testing. As a Test Development Engineer, you will lead new product test capacity fast ramp-up in the early mass production phase, working with product engineering and design teams to drive yield improvement and test time reduction.

Responsibilities:

- Lead cost-effective, high-efficiency test solution development for high-volume products.

- Maintain and improve automated test systems and software tools to increase test coverage and efficiency.

- Lead troubleshooting of test station/product-related issues, identifying high failure items, and ensuring issues are resolved by driving to root cause.

- Support product engineering teams to debug No Fault Found (NFF) and Return Material Authorization (RMA) troubleshooting.

- Document test procedures, results, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

- Monitor test process yields and perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) on a timely basis.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience supporting optics product testing, with the capability to independently develop full test systems.

- Proficiency in software engineering principles and techniques, including programming algorithms, source control, deployment techniques, and multi-threading.

- Strong experience using TestStand, LabVIEW, and Python for automating test scripts.

- Proven experience with optics test systems, equipment, and fixtures.

- Deep understanding of Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GRR) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) for qualifying and monitoring Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

- Experience working with test systems that interact with automated handlers, alignment, or similar equipment in a high-volume environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
