## Description

The Technology Partnerships team at Datadog builds and scales partnerships with key technology companies. As a Senior Technology Partner Engineer, you will act as a technical bridge between Datadog and our partner developer community.

You will guide partners through the integration lifecycle, from initial architectural design to final product integrations, and launching on the Datadog Marketplace.

This role combines deep technical troubleshooting with high-level consulting and platform advocacy, working directly with external developers.

**Responsibilities:**

- Technical Advisory: Provide technical leadership to partners on OAuth flows, log pipelines, OpenTelemetry, and integrations.

- Co-Build: Collaborate with Datadog teams to identify, prioritize, and drive joint integration roadmaps.

- Architectural & Code Review: Assess and review partner integrations and marketplace repositories.

- Technical Troubleshooting: Solve complex technical challenges for partners.

- Platform Advocacy: Identify friction points in the Datadog platform and work with internal teams to improve the developer experience.

- Documentation & Tracking: Maintain public-facing developer documentation and internal tracking systems.

- Market Awareness: Track trends in AI/ML and data platforms to identify new partnership opportunities.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in a technical role.

- Proficient in at least one programming language (Python or Go preferred).

- Strong understanding of monitoring fundamentals and modern standards like OpenTelemetry.

- Experience working with APIs, Linux environments, and cloud infrastructure.

- Excellent consulting and communication skills.

**Nice to Have:**

- Experience with AI coding tools.

- Motivation to push the boundaries of AI in software engineering.

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, with a reasonably estimated yearly salary range of $198,000-$242,000 USD.
