### Multi Skilled Operative

The Multiskilled Operative at ABM UK plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. As part of our dedicated team, you will undertake a wide array of maintenance tasks across all areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and providing high-quality service to our clients.

### Key Responsibilities

- Perform various maintenance tasks including but not limited to plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and fabrication.

- Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of equipment and assets and perform preventive maintenance.

- Respond to urgent maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment service history.

- Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality service.

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.

- Participate in training and development activities to improve skill sets.

### Requirements

- Experience in facility maintenance or a similar role.

- Proficient in multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).

- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) in trades preferred.
