## Description

We are seeking an Assistant Engineer - Roads to support our highway and transport schemes.

The successful candidate will undertake Road Safety Audits, road safety assessments, and collision analysis. They will review highway designs, conduct site inspections, analyse collision data, identify road safety issues, and develop safety recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field

- Relevant experience in highways, transport planning, or road safety

- Knowledge of UK highway standards and road safety practices

Responsibilities include:

- Conducting quality checks on data and model outputs

- Researching and reviewing design options

- Supporting Project Managers to ensure timely completion of tasks

- Taking ownership of assigned tasks and finding solutions

- Maintaining effective communication with colleagues in India and the UK

The role requires strong analytical and engineering judgement, attention to detail, and clear technical writing skills.
