## Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and supportive therapies. The salary for this permanent, full-time position ranges from £32,073 to £39,043 per year.

The Chemotherapy Nurse will be responsible for administering systemic anti-cancer therapies, supportive treatments, and carrying out therapeutic venesection. They will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver excellent patient-focused care. The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology and chemotherapy, with skills in cannulation, phlebotomy, and central lines.

Key responsibilities include:

- Administering systemic anti-cancer therapies and supportive treatments

- Carrying out therapeutic venesection

- Providing specialist clinical knowledge and practice to patients and carers

- Participating in all relevant aspects of the Governance process

- Maintaining own personal development and ensuring own educational needs are met
