## Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Plant Accounting & Financial Operations to lead the Factory Accounting team and ensure accurate accounting reporting and compliance with IFRS/US GAAP standards.

The successful candidate will support Plant Management in understanding financial information and advise teams on future financial forecasts. They will oversee the creation and consolidation of forecasts and monthly results for respective factories within the unit.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading Factory Group Leads and communicating company and center leadership direction

- Developing Group Lead skills through goal creation, PPR reviews, training, succession planning, and overall management development

- Collecting and consolidating HDMA North America Factory results, including budgets and monthly results

- Mentoring key associates to develop future leaders

- Supporting Regional BCI teams in implementing C/D plans and themes

- Overseeing deployment of common accounting practices across plants

- Serving as a financial and cost advisor to Plant and COC Leadership

The ideal candidate will have:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

- 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably with Honda

- 2+ years in a Group Lead role

- 4+ years in a leadership role

- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, IFRS and US GAAP, plant/manufacturing accounting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis and cost control

- Excellent leadership and associate development skills

- Strong communication and influencing skills

- Ability to advise plant and senior leadership on financial performance
