## Description

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead groups of teams in delivering software integrated into its products. The successful candidate will independently lead teams to deliver software for autonomy, simulation, data processing, and other areas.

## Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Technical Leads and managers to design and deliver a multi-year software roadmap across multiple groups and products

- Leverage internal and external teams to rapidly deliver capability beyond current platforms

- Manage architecture selection and design for robotic systems, including hardware, compute, storage, and network architecture

- Influence the design and development of a company-wide roadmap for software inputs to autonomous systems

- Manage a group of teams that develop software running on- and off-platform using various technologies

- Act as a subject matter expert for software engineering, representing software equities in a multi-stakeholder environment

- Drive the design and implementation of development processes for software delivery and iteration

- Build and manage a 12-36 month roadmap for your group, nested within broader organisational and company roadmaps

- Manage an allocated budget for your group

- Manage programmatic risk for your group and collaborate with Technical Leads to manage technical risk

## Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field

- Experience in a senior management position within a high-performing technology organization

- Extensive professional experience working as a Software Engineer with one or more domains and/or technologies of expertise

- Capacity to lead a group that works holistically on software-enabled capabilities up and down the software stack

- Capacity to act as the owner for a software platform spanning multiple integrated products

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a senior role for the delivery of a military mission system and/or autonomous vehicle

- Experience writing backend services or embedded software in C, C++, Rust, and/or Go

- Experience working with a RTOS

- Experience with the design, implementation, and operation of horizontally scaled cloud technologies
