## Description

As an Ambient Manager at Asda, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of all areas of the Ambient department in store.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Delivering the best availability and highest shop floor standards through brilliant execution

- Ensuring the store is safe and legal for customers and colleagues

- Leading the shrink agenda through your Ambient team, driving standards and inputs, and acting on opportunities with clear actions

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment

- Operational knowledge of food or non-food departments

- Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink

- Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience

- Strong organisational skills and great customer service

As an Ambient Manager, you will also need to:

- Drive strategy into action by planning and executing all trading activity on the shopfloor

- Lead with impact by engaging and coaching your team to constantly improve routine and process

- Be results-focused, ensuring shopfloor and promotional activity is landed to brief and on time

- Develop talent by listening with empathy, driving resilience, and encouraging ownership and passion for the business
