## Description

As a global leader in advanced mobility solutions, Ford's outstanding team of legal professionals helps navigate the continually changing legal and regulatory landscape. In the Office of General Counsel, you'll collaborate with outside counsel to deliver world-class legal, tax, and audit services.

## Responsibilities

- Provide strategic legal counsel on civil, commercial, and corporate matters, translating complex regulatory issues into actionable strategies.

- Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial agreements, partnership contracts, and vendor terms, ensuring robust risk management and intellectual property protections.

- Manage corporate governance functions, including maintaining corporate records, drafting board resolutions, and preparing required regulatory filings.

- Identify and mitigate risks across business operations, developing mitigation frameworks to protect the company.

- Develop compliance policies, operational guidelines, and compliance frameworks to foster a strong culture of ethical business practices.

- Guide and mentor junior legal professionals, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and external legal counsel.

## Qualifications

- Law degree and active legal license.

- Typically 5 to 10 years of professional legal experience in corporate and commercial law.

- Experience using modern legal technology, including Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software, entity management systems, and legal research platforms.

- Exceptional analytical and drafting skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and explain complex legal concepts simply.

- High level of professional ethics, sound judgment, and commitment to collaborative teamwork.

## Preferred Qualifications

- Advanced legal education, such as a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate Law or Commercial Transactions.

- Professional credentials in corporate compliance, governance, or international risk management.

- Experience negotiating cross-border commercial transactions or managing legal frameworks across multiple regional jurisdictions.
