## Description

We are looking for an NPD & Operations Buyer to join our Procurement team in Amsterdam. In this role, you are the link between creativity and execution: you make sure new products are launched on time, with the right suppliers, at the right cost, and without adding unnecessary complexity.

Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end procurement for NPD: Drive the sourcing process from product idea to first production, translating product requirements into solutions aligned with Procurement strategy and policy.

- Collaborate on supplier selection: Partner with category buyers to select suppliers based on strategic fit, cost, capacity, quality, scalability, and sustainability, with a preference for leveraging the existing supplier network.

- Drive standardization: Challenge unnecessary customization and promote the reuse of existing materials and supplier solutions wherever possible.

- Own procurement data and processes: Build and maintain key procurement master data for NPD and operational activities, and develop simple, scalable tools that improve efficiency across the team.

- Support category buyers: Execute RFQs, supplier onboarding, quote analysis, and order follow-up to ensure smooth project delivery.

- Contribute to cost optimization: Identify savings opportunities, provide input prices for business cases and Tony's Transfer Price, and prepare supplier negotiations with data and market insights.

- Build strong supplier relationships: Act as the main point of contact during NPD projects, ensure clear communication and effective issue resolution, and monitor supplier performance against targets to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations, ideally in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.

- Strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to keep multiple NPD workstreams on track simultaneously.

- Knowledge of (or genuine curiosity about) raw materials, inclusions, packaging, market dynamics, and sustainability trends.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities: you are comfortable turning data into actionable insights even without an ERP system.

- A hands-on, entrepreneurial mentality: you manage ambiguity well and create clarity where needed.

- You build trusted relationships through proactive communication, collaboration, and reliable follow-through.

- High ownership and a "find a way" attitude: you get things done, even when systems and processes are still being built.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing scale-up environment.

- Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.

Benefits:

- Opportunity to be part of something extraordinary and make real impact in the world.

- Training programs, regular feedback cycles, coaching, and a generous L&D budget.

- Luxurious vega-lunch, company bonus, minimum of 28 holidays, inspirational team updates, unforgettable events, and unlimited chocolate.

- Salary between 56k - 69k on a yearly basis, including holiday pay.
