## Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Estate Engineer to join our team at Spire South Bank Hospital in Worcester. As a key member of the engineering team, you will provide a comprehensive and cost-effective engineering service, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff, and contractors.

The successful applicant will work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a 24/7 on-call requirement, rotating every three weeks. You must live within 45 minutes of the hospital.

**Responsibilities:**

- Repair, maintain, or install plant, equipment, systems, and building structures/fabric.

- Conduct planned preventative maintenance, testing, and calibration, fault finding, and defect correction.

- Support the emergency on-call rota.

- Undertake maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with current HTM recommendations, PPM schedules, and manufacturer's instructions.

**Requirements:**

- Relevant certificates or willingness to undertake specialist training.

- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical).

- Experience in building services management.

- Knowledge of building services.

- Experience with medical gas cylinders/pipeline systems.

- Water safety and legionella control experience.

- Ability to prioritize demands against resources and support hospital compliance with changing legislation.
