Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an Attorney with a strong background in Maritime law to join our South Florida Maritime group. This is an opportunity to grow and develop your maritime litigation practice at one of the pre-eminent litigation firms in the country.

Responsibilities:

- Handle maritime cases on a day-to-day basis

- Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions

- Guide plaintiff clients through the case process

- Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences and drafting expert reports

- Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of plaintiffs

Qualifications:

- Law degree (Juris Doctor) from a fully ABA-accredited law school

- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar

- Ideally 4+ years of PI litigation experience, preferably in maritime law

- Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases and take them to trial

- Excellent client service and communication skills

- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals

- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
