## Description

Howden Tiger is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

The successful candidate will manage a team of accounts payable clerks, implement best practices for financial controls, and collaborate closely with other departments to support the company's financial goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of accounts payable clerks, provide training and support, and conduct performance evaluations.

- Invoice Processing: Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, validation, approval, and payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

- Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Financial Controls: Enforce internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets, preparing and reviewing reports related to accounts payable.

- Reporting and Reconciliation: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts payable reports, reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving discrepancies.

- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to existing accounts payable processes and systems, leading initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

- Proven experience (5+ years) in accounts payable or a related financial role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and accounts payable processes.

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
