## Description

We are looking for a Senior Staff AI Engineer to join the Finance AI team at NVIDIA. In this role, you'll design, build, evaluate, and operate AI-powered applications, agents, and automation for Finance.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and own agentic systems end-to-end, from scoping problems with finance partners to ensuring reliability in production.

- Set architecture, shared primitives, patterns, and quality standards for others to build on, mentoring engineers and representing AI engineering to Finance and NVIDIA leadership.

- Stay at the forefront of applied AI, testing new models, agent frameworks, and tooling, and turning learnings into build/no-build decisions.

- Partner with the model team to leverage, fine-tune, and post-train NVIDIA's Nemotron models for finance use cases.

**Requirements:**

- Master's or PhD in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical field.

- 12+ years of experience building and operating production systems, including 3+ years with LLM/agent systems.

- A track record as a core technical contributor, shipping multiple LLM-powered applications or agents and owning them in production.

- Hands-on experience with skill-based workflows, harnesses, agent orchestration frameworks, advanced retrieval techniques, and designing evaluations and observability for LLM systems.

- Strong Python and solid engineering fundamentals, extensive experience with agentic and adversarial software engineering, and a practical understanding of networks and operating systems.
