## Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact strategic R&D initiatives within quantum computing.

You will lead across our applied research R&D roadmap to craft clarity and success. We are innovating groundbreaking techniques for quantum in AI and accelerated computing, so that useful fault-tolerant quantum computing arrives sooner. Partner across engineering, applied research, and product teams inside NVIDIA, and with external collaborators, you will build and operationalize innovation roadmaps that pioneer ahead.

**Responsibilities:**

- Initiate and lead multiple concurrent technical programs across our quantum computing portfolio, with emphasis on bringing the full power of accelerated computing to the field.

- Define clear execution plans and measurable outcomes from our R&D and technology roadmaps, then drive the work to success across teams.

- Identify & prioritize the most critical activities required for the research's success, and ensure that they are completed.

- Develop a strong technical understanding of our R&D priorities, to enable successful collaborations, and proactively identify new opportunities.

- Creatively solve and mitigate technical challenges, while establishing early risk identification and mitigations.

- Serve as a link between research and engineering, moving new technologies from incubation to scalable solutions.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.

- 10+ years of technical program management experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives, including multiple sophisticated programs at once and execution alongside research, engineering, and technical leadership.

- Validated understanding of the quantum computing ecosystem and technologies, including hardware and software.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated technical concepts for a range of audiences.

**Nice to Have:**

- Advanced degree (MS or PhD or equivalent) in quantum information science, physics, or a closely related field, or hands-on research or engineering experience inside a quantum program.

- Background in translating research output to developed technology.

- Familiarity with GPU-accelerated computing, HPC environments, or hybrid quantum-classical workflows and the tooling around them.

- Experience running joint technical programs with national laboratories, companies, universities, or research institutions.

NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4, and 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD for Level 5.
