## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our Laveen Village location. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities:

- Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments

- Implement treatment plans and provide patient education on exercise techniques and home programs

- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals

- Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued care

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred

- Completion of a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)

- Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Arizona

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
