East African Breweries PLC (EABL) is seeking a Site Manager to provide overall leadership and accountability for site performance. The successful candidate will deliver business objectives through strategic planning, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

#### Purpose of the Role

The Site Manager will lead cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable production of various beverages while achieving safety, quality, cost, service, and sustainability targets. The role involves driving a high-performance culture, championing world-class Asset Care Management, and leading the Manufacturing Excellence strategy.

#### Key Accountabilities

- **Lead Safety, Quality & Compliance**: Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, fostering a culture that protects people, products, assets, and business reputation.

- **Deliver Site Performance & Results**: Develop and execute site strategy and operating plans to achieve business objectives, delivering targets across Safety, Quality, Cost, Service, OEE, Productivity, Water, Energy, and Waste.

- **Lead & Develop People**: Build a high-performance culture through leadership, talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement, strengthening organisational capability to meet current and future business needs.

- **Drive Asset Care & Capex Delivery**: Lead asset care strategies to maximise reliability, availability, and performance, overseeing maintenance excellence, equipment lifecycle management, and capital investment.

- **Drive Manufacturing Excellence**: Lead implementation of the Manufacturing Excellence strategy, driving continuous improvement, productivity, operational excellence, and sustainable value creation.

#### Qualifications

- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or other Science/Technical discipline.

- Master Brewer, International Brewing and Distilling (IBD), Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Asset Care Pillar Certification, Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent preferred.

- Master of Business Administration an added advantage.

#### Skills & Experience

- Minimum 10 years of broad manufacturing experience in a senior role, leading large teams to deliver results.

- Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets, productivity programs, and capital investments.

- Proven experience leading large operations and delivering results across safety, quality, cost, service, and productivity metrics.

- Combination of strong functional expertise with people leadership, coaching, and talent development, coupled with change management experience.

- Strong technical and industry-standard systems knowledge and experience.
