## Description

As an Enterprise Account Executive for Industry Expansion at Gong, you will play a crucial role in acquiring new customers within specific industries such as financial services, healthcare, consulting, manufacturing, and energy.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Driving new business growth within a greenfield territory, managing prospects from lead generation to closing, while positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.

- Developing tailored account plans for target accounts that align with Gong's overall strategy.

- Communicating Gong's value proposition to potential customers and generating excitement about the solutions.

- Refining and optimising messaging to scale outbound prospecting efforts.

- Engaging with senior executives to educate them on the evolving Revenue Intelligence industry.

- Collaborating with SDR, Sales, and Sales Engineering teams to craft account-based sales strategies.

The ideal candidate will have:

- 4-5+ years of relevant sales experience, with at least 1 year of experience selling complex SaaS solutions to enterprise clients.

- A proven track record of exceeding revenue targets of $1M+ net new ARR and consistently closing six-figure net-new deals.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically at a high level.

- Experience selling to senior leaders such as the C-Suite, CROs, and other key stakeholders within enterprise organisations.

- A hunter mentality with a passion for prospecting and securing new logos.

- Proven experience utilising MEDDPICC or a similar value-based selling methodology.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
