## Description

Leidos Defense, Systems Integration and Test Team, is seeking a Junior Integration Engineer in Huntsville, AL. The team works to implement unique solutions for complex problems in the defense sector, including kinetic and directed energy defensive and offensive platforms, RADAR, and other surveillance and sensor technologies.

**Primary Responsibilities**

- Execute test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance phases of hardware projects.

- Create, modify, and use Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) test platforms to satisfy testing requirements.

- Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.

- Perform test data analysis via data log parser, Wireshark, and/or software debug tools.

- Debug software and/or hardware with various tools.

- Work directly with the customer and other support personnel on these responsibilities.

**Basic Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with 2+ years of experience, or Master's degree.

- Knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.

- Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.

- Direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting, and testing.

- Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

- Possess a secret clearance.

- The position may require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.

- The position may require minimal travel for test events (approximately 4 weeks a year).

**Preferred Qualifications**

- 2+ years of experience with test planning and execution.

- Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator).

- Working knowledge of software languages Python, C, C++, C#, and/or firmware languages for Xilinx or Altera devices.

- Experience with Linux, Matlab, Labview, and WireShark.

- Experience preparing and presenting briefings and/or demonstrations to customers and management.

- Planning and executing demonstration tests and US Gov't test ranges/facilities.

The salary range for this position is $69,550.00 - $125,725.00.
