## Description

The Endoscopy Access Administrator will be part of the Endoscopy Access Team, responsible for day-to-day coordination and compilation of waiting lists, adding patients to these lists, and providing comprehensive administrative support to the Endoscopy Department.

The role requires working closely with the polyp nurse specialist and general anaesthetic pre-assessment nurses, maintaining a positive and proactive approach to work, and dealing with telephone enquiries in an empathetic and productive manner.

Key responsibilities include:

- Communicating effectively with a range of people, either in person or on the telephone

- Responding to enquiries and taking appropriate action on behalf of the service

- Liaising with all relevant departments involved in providing care and core services

- Providing excellent front-of-house service when covering Endoscopy receptions

- Dealing sensitively with complaints, problems, or issues arising

- Establishing and maintaining electronic and manual filing systems

- Covering other members of the Endoscopy admin team when required

The post holder will actively support and contribute to the requirements of the pre-assessment service and the endoscopy unit.

The salary for this position is £30,630 to £32,346 per year, inclusive of High Cost Area Supplement.
