## Description

The Controllership team in AP region is looking for a Senior Accountant mainly to take charge of the Controllership-related support needed for Project Prospera.

The role is also responsible to support the RHQ Controllership team on month-end closing, quarterly reporting, rebates and incentives support and other compliance-related reporting activities.

The ideal candidate is independent, intellectually curious, analytical and highly motivated with the ability to work with cross-functional teams across the organization.

**Responsibilities**

- Responsible for providing Controllership-related support in relation to Project Prospera claims (provide AUP support with PwC on Professional Services – R&I, A&M and Fulfillment Costs)

- Provide support to RICL, other Controllers and RHQ Controllership team in relation to month-end closing and in collating and consolidating responses from legal entity Controllers needed for the timely submission of monthly and quarterly corporate reporting requirements

- Responsible in the timely and accurate monthly and quarterly indirect tax filings for MAPPL (Malaysia DST, GST) and coordinates with KPMG and other Service Provider to meet filing requirements

- Provides support needed by R&I Controllership team on Rebates and Incentives

- Participates ad hoc projects where support is required

**Requirements**

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent and at least 7 years relevant work experience. CPA/ CA preferred

- Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices (US GAAP and IFRS)

- Strong organizational skills required to manage multiple, concurrent tasks

- Requires intermediate to advance skills in MS Excel. MS Access skills preferred. Excellent overall spreadsheet skills and comfortable working with various financial applications. Experience in Oracle financial systems & ADI and Hyperion preferred

- Proficiency in automation and AI tools is a good-to-have requirement

- Independent worker & thinker with the ability to follow up on time sensitive issues

- Proven communication skills with all levels of staff and management across different geographies and cultures

- High degree of accuracy and ability to manage sensitive information

- Self-starter, can work under pressure, team player and problem-solver
