## Description

Vattenfall is seeking a (Senior) Project Engineer for Inter Array Cables. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engineering work packages for a development or execution project, ensuring technical compliance, coordinating technical interfaces, and managing quality, risks, and documentation.

As a (Senior) Project Engineer, you will:

- Deliver assigned work packages per contractual requirements and standards

- Perform technical reviews of reports, designs, and system studies supplied by contractors and third parties

- Support supplier qualification activities, factory visits, inspections, testing, and technical workshops

- Review and support development of offshore installation, handling, termination, and testing procedures

- Interface with other packages and plant suppliers to ensure consistency, technical compatibility, and quality

- Manage technical queries and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders

- Ensure timely documentation of findings, lessons learned, and proactively share knowledge within the department and organisation

The ideal candidate will have:

- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical engineering or similar

- Experience working as a project engineer on large-scale projects with the inter-array cables scope

- Strong theoretical knowledge and/or practical experience with cable accessories, including terminations, hang-offs, fibre optic connections, and their associated installation activities on an offshore wind farm

- Experience with cable installation, electrical system design, or systems engineering will be considered a plus

- Understanding of the commercial impact of technical choices

- Good communication, collaboration, and influencing skills

- High degree of self-motivation and autonomy

- Continuous learning and improvement mindset

- Willingness to travel and perform remote work from supplier's sites/offices

Location: The role will be based in one of Vattenfall's office locations in Amsterdam (Netherlands) or Hamburg (Germany). Some travel to other offices/suppliers shall be expected.
