## Description

We're looking for a leader to join our Payments Intelligence team, which is dedicated to simplifying and scaling online payments for merchants.

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to develop high-performance services and seamless user experiences. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their use-cases and unlock new capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Enabling the team to work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to own and solve problems from end-to-end.

- Supporting the engineering team in building experiences for businesses that range from high growth startups to leading global companies.

- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, including product, design, infrastructure, marketing, and operations.

- Leading and managing processes to help the team do its best work and engage effectively with the rest of Stripe.

- Recruiting great engineers, in collaboration with Stripe's recruiting team.

- Developing engineers on the team, helping them advance in their careers.

- Contributing to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Stripe's engineering management team.

We're looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience managing teams that shipped high-quality products. You should have an entrepreneurial mindset, successfully recruited and built great teams, and worked effectively cross-functionally. You should also have technical acumen to drive clarity with staff engineers about architecture and technical strategic decisions.
