## Description

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Pensions Officer to join our award-winning Pensions Administration Team.

In this varied role, you will deliver a high-quality pensions administration service for members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), managing a wide range of pension cases from start to finish. You will be responsible for processing pension events accurately and efficiently, providing guidance to scheme members, employers and stakeholders. Always ensuring compliance with LGPS regulations and statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience of pensions administration, ideally within the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). You will be confident managing a varied workload, interpreting complex regulations and communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing pension cases from initial enquiry through to completion

- Processing complex pension calculations and records with high accuracy

- Providing excellent customer service to members, employers and other stakeholders

- Interpreting and applying LGPS regulations and statutory requirements

- Prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines

- Utilising IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office applications
