## Description

The Vehicle Systems Department at Multimatic Technical Centre (MTC) is seeking a Senior Design Engineer with skills in complex systems integration and full vehicle system development.

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will conduct comprehensive systems integration trade-off studies to meet system requirements, negotiate with stakeholders on requirements and trade-offs, and derive and manage subsystem requirements based on customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct calculations to ensure systems are robust against noise factors

- Recommend and lead component and vehicle level testing to verify and validate systems

- Select appropriate manufacturing processes for parts

- Design in 3D using CATIA or NX, and draft manufacturing prints in 2D

- Participate in prototype builds and review progress

- Disseminate knowledge to other team members

- Work with a complex international team

Requirements:

- Minimum 8 years of directly relevant work experience

- College or university degree in a relevant engineering discipline

- High degree of competence in GD&T

- Knowledge in rotating machinery

- Strong knowledge in solid mechanics and dynamics

- Expert knowledge in either NX or CATIA

- Proven track record of being able to perform under pressure

- History of leadership

Preferred Skills:

- Project management experience

- MATLAB and Simulink experience

- Expert knowledge in rotating machinery

- Extensive experience in Multiphysics FEA

- Experience with additive manufacturing and composites

- Experience in a motorsports setting
