## Description

We are seeking an ambitious law student with strong analytical skills and interest in litigation, particularly before the Dutch Supreme Court (Hoge Raad), to join our litigation practice group in Amsterdam for a two-month internship.

During your internship, you will work closely with our team on complex cases at the intersection of corporate law, financial law, competition law, and arbitration. You will assist in preparing and conducting cassation proceedings and providing strategic legal advice on cases with significant legal and societal impact.

Our litigation practice is involved in high-profile and landmark cases for leading national and international clients, including disputes over the annulment of arbitral awards, applicable law, mass damage, rental law pre-judicial questions, mediation obligations, and fundamental issues related to freedom of expression and director's liability.

You will also have the opportunity to gain knowledge of other areas of our practice group, including litigation and arbitration.

**Responsibilities** As an intern, you will actively contribute to ongoing cases and gain insight into our litigation practice. Your tasks may include:

- Conducting legal research;

- Analyzing judgments, literature, and court documents;

- Assisting in drafting court documents and advice;

- Supporting the preparation of litigation strategy;

- Attending internal meetings and contributing to discussions on complex legal issues.

**Requirements** We are looking for a talented and driven student with a clear interest in litigation and cassation. You should:

- Be studying Dutch Law;

- Have excellent academic results;

- Possess strong analytical skills;

- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and good command of English;

- Be meticulous and thorough;

- Be curious, motivated, and resilient;

- Be able to work well in an ambitious and internationally oriented team;

- Demonstrated interest in procedural law and/or cassation is preferred.
