## Description

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will lead daily operations of HONO Japanese Steakhouse, acting as interim GM in their absence. Key priorities include management and employee development, inventory management, supply purchases, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Execute and maintain quality and consistency of food, beverage, and service

- Provide warm and welcoming atmosphere and service

- Interact with guests, build loyalty, and handle feedback professionally

- Measure and evaluate service through audits and feedback

- Maintain safety, security, sanitation, and cleanliness

- Train and develop guest-focused employees

- Manage team accountability and vendor relationships

- Make sound decisions to protect the restaurant and company

- Assist in conducting quarterly staff evaluations and managing labor

- Achieve financial goals and control cash handling

- Conduct weekly inventory counts

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in a senior management role

- ServSafe certification

- Ability to work 55-60 hours per week, including holidays, late nights, and weekends

- Understanding of basic computer applications and POS systems
