## Description

WSP is seeking a Senior/Principal Consultant – Procurement Specialist (Resources and Waste) to join their Circular Economy & Waste Advisory team.

The successful candidate will provide technical procurement advisory services to clients, lead and manage project delivery teams, and assist with business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing technical procurement advisory services to clients

- Leading and managing project delivery teams

- Preparing proposals and business development initiatives

- Line management and mentoring of junior staff

- Ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and with high client satisfaction ratings

The ideal candidate will have:

- A first degree in a relevant subject, preferably in the field of science, environment, or engineering

- Pertinent experience of environmental and waste services or infrastructure procurement projects for local authorities

- Experience of developing technical specifications, method statements, performance management frameworks, and other procurement documents

- Experience of competitive dialogue and/or competitive procedure with negotiation procurement procedures

- Understanding of resources and waste legislation and policy in the UK

- High levels of written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent time management skills
