Join GDIT's mission-driven team supporting the Department of Defense as we help unify the Air Force's cyber defense to outpace threats with shared insight, faster decisions, and stronger mission protection.

As a Lead Test Engineer, Sr Principal, you will govern the Enterprise Test Framework and independent verification activities across all pipelines and platforms. You will develop, govern, and enforce an overarching Enterprise Test Framework to standardize testing methodologies and quality assurance blueprints across all Task Order repositories, defining and mandating a unified, modern software testing approach.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting independent, multi-faceted penetration tests on platform engineering and applications

- Emulating adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)

- Conducting independent reviews of all source code utilizing government-furnished tools for deep codebase analysis

- Providing formal "Go/No-Go" release recommendations to the PMO based on objective test results

- Understanding testing security boundaries, data flows, and firewalls between Dev/Test networks, the System Integration Lab (SIL), and operational production networks

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8-12 years software/system test engineering

- 5+ years independent IV&V

- 5+ years cybersecurity testing (SAST, DAST, pen testing)

- 3+ years CI/CD pipeline integration

- Top Secret with SCI eligibility

- CISSP or Certified Test and Evaluation Professional (CTEP) certification
