## Description

We're seeking a Staff Software Engineer - iOS to join our team at Capital One Canada. You'll play a crucial role in shaping innovative solutions that impact millions of Canadians.

**About the Role** As a Staff Software Engineer - iOS, you will own and lead the delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and architects. You will work as part of a dynamic mobile team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, improving software engineering practices, and contributing expertise on evolving technology.

**Responsibilities**

- Own and lead delivery of major components and platform needs

- Work as part of a dynamic mobile team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle

- Improve software engineering practices

- Contribute expertise on evolving technology

- Provide mentorship to Junior, Intermediate, and Senior mobile associates

**Requirements**

- At least 6 years of hands-on development of Native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI

- At least 6 years of experience with application design, technical architecture/design, and development

- Experience leading and mentoring Junior/Intermediate Associates

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

- 8+ years of experience leading the full life-cycle of Software Development

- Exposure to AWS or other cloud products

- Experience working in an agile environment

- Experience in open-source frameworks
