## Description

We are looking for a pre-sales professional who has a successful track record helping large enterprises become more data-driven. As a Sr. Solutions Engineer, you will work with the Enterprise Account Executive (AE) to define and direct the technical strategy for our largest and important accounts. Your goal will be to help these accounts evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading customers on a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks

- Implementing the technical strategy in the account, in close understanding of the strategy

- Building a movement of technical champions within the account

- Aligning technical strategies around Databricks solutions

- Working with the sales team and technical peers to drive business outcomes for our clients

We are looking for someone with proficiency in establishing virtual teams and leading them to ultimate success within the account. You should have experience working with very large (> $1m ARR), global accounts and be able to form relationships with executives and influencers. You should also have a convincing point-of-view to present to important decision-makers that leads them down a path of success.

Technical requirements include proficiency in big data, data science, and cloud (Azure & AWS). You should also have production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java. Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or Azure certification is a plus.

The pay range for this role is $139,700-$192,050 CAD per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
