Join Electronic Arts' Research & Engineering team as a Principal Technical Artist, operating at the crossroads of art and technology. You will work closely with scientists, engineers, and designers to define the future of game world creation using advanced AI technologies.

Responsibilities:

- Design novel technologies that bring game worlds to life

- Implement new approaches to enable art for game worlds at scale

- Collaborate with developers to improve visual quality

- Participate in creating demos showcasing your work

- Translate creative goals into practical technical solutions

- Develop tools and workflows for art creation

Qualifications:

- 15+ years of experience in AAA game development

- Proficiency in major engines like Unreal, Unity, or proprietary

- Comprehensive understanding of content production pipelines

- Strong artistic sensibility and visual quality

- Familiarity with scripting languages and compiled programming languages

- Understanding of console and PC hardware architectures

- Experience with AI tools like Claude Code
