## Description

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will sit within the Finance Business Partnering function, reporting to the Discipline or Senior Finance Business Partner. They will provide dedicated financial planning and decision support aligned to strategic and customer priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss, cash flow, and forecasts

- Analysing variances between budgets, forecasts, and actual results

- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial and commercial risks and opportunities

- Using insight to challenge and influence business decisions to improve financial performance

- Monitoring project income, cost to complete, working capital, and change control

- Ensuring corporate financial governance and control is understood and adhered to

- Driving and responding to change within and outside of the organisation

- Maintaining the WSP finance operating model

The ideal candidate will have:

- A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with a recognised organisation, expecting to complete within 3 years

- Experience of supporting a variety of stakeholders

- Strong communication skills

- A commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning

- Experience of working in collaboration with shared services teams
