## Description

Okta is seeking a highly skilled Globalization Engineer to lead the technical aspects of its global digital operations.

As a Globalization Tech Lead, you will own, build, and optimise the automation and technology stack that powers the localisation team.

Responsibilities:

- Build and own the localisation automation framework using agentic workflows, Python, and APIs.

- Spearhead AI and technology integration, evaluating and implementing cutting-edge localisation technologies.

- Provide technical oversight and systems integrity, resolving high-impact architectural failures.

- Advise on internationalisation (i18n), consulting with product and engineering teams.

- Manage and optimise the Translation Management Systems (TMS) environment.

- Drive early detection (shift-left strategy), developing self-service tools for dev teams.

Requirements:

- 6-8 years of experience in software or globalisation engineering.

- Expert-level proficiency in Python and APIs.

- Experience with enterprise CMS or MSM platforms.

- Proven experience implementing AI in localisation workflows.

- Deep technical understanding of the localisation landscape.

- Ability to conduct code-level i18n reviews.

- Systematic and analytical problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have:

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

- Experience with data analysis and reporting on workflow performance.

Salary:

- $132,000-$181,500 USD (California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Washington)

- $114,000-$157,300 CAD (Canada)
