## Description

This is a role within the Castrol organisation and the successful candidate will become part of the Castrol ring-fence. The Treasury Accounting Manager will have an opportunity to input to the development of a nascent Treasury function, from reporting tools to process design, as well as develop their own team.

The role will have complete oversight of the Castrol treasury accounting function working to support the wider treasury function to deliver accurate and timely accounting and MI for intra-group funding, liquidity and FX transactions (including hedging) coupled with a robust control environment.

The Treasury Accounting Manager will work closely with their team, the Castrol Group Treasurer and wider Treasury team, performing dynamically together to build and shape the future of Castrol treasury.

Key responsibilities include delivering accurate and compliant accounting outcomes for intercompany funding activities, providing accurate accounting treatment and reporting for foreign exchange transactions, resolving treasury-related operational issues and business inquiries, and leading and delivering treasury-related projects and ad-hoc initiatives.

The role will also interact extensively with the global Castrol teams, strategic banks and the Castrol Capability Centre.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in treasury accounting including FX, experience in intercompany accounting, academic background in finance, economics, engineering, data science, good knowledge of processes and financial data flows of SAP and connected systems, strong English language knowledge, confidence to take decisions based on training and problem-solving skills, and strong organisational and time management skills.
