## Description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.

As a Senior Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, ensuring the highest quality of production, and supporting the development and implementation of new products.

## Responsibilities

- Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain that includes Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) for electro-mechanical assemblies

- Contribute to operational excellence with a strong continuous improvement mindset and leading impactful Kaizen events

- Be a strong partner with Product Quality Engineering to drive and support RCCA burndowns that tackle key issues both internally and externally to Production

- Troubleshoot and drive to root cause in complex mixed-signal systems

- Implement corrective action to improve first-pass yield (FPY) and overall production performance

- Collaborate with Design Engineering teams in early to late phases of the development process to provide DFx for smooth NPI transitions

- Develop process flows, breaking down large, complex assemblies into a logical part flow of subassemblies and sub-processes

- Write documentation required for successfully manufacturing their hardware at scale, such as work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements, etc.

- Work with contract manufacturers across various disciplines (PCBA fab, metallic manufacturing, assembly, etc.) to develop repeatable, sustained processes for quick-turn development as well as at-scale production

- Work with technicians and other engineers hands-on, building prototype hardware

- Contribute to end-customer hardware mechanical or electrical design, including interconnects, board fabrication and inspection, etc.

## Required Qualifications

- Degree in a technical field preferred such as engineering, math, or a hard science

- 8+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware

- Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment

- Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, wire harness assembly/repair, assembly, etc.)

- Work on personal or extracurricular projects is a plus.

- Hands-on experience using electrical debug tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, DAQs, and programmable power supplies

- Prior experience working with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), or Oracle (ERP) or equivalents

- Experience with electromechanical products that require system AI&T (assembly, integration, and test)

- Proficiency in communicating technical challenges to a variety of audiences, up to and including site leadership

- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
