## Description

We are looking for a native Hebrew speaker to join our team as a freelance translator and proofreader with experience in the field of automotive related documents.

This role involves providing Hebrew designations for a conceptual termbase, focusing on terms related to parts, engines, motors, and technologies used in modern trucks and buses.

The ideal candidate will ensure the English definition is the basis for translating, copy-editing and conducting quality checks in his/her native language and locale as well as the accuracy and consistency of terminology across the term base.

The Hebrew Linguist will also need to be fluent in English (UK) as the source terms and all data at concept level is in English UK.

## Responsibilities:

- Translation, copy-editing, and quality checks of technical specifications

- Working with XTM/Phrase

- Expected volume: less than 500 words/weekly

- Hebrew translation, copyediting and conducting quality checks to identify any issues related to grammar, spelling, punctuation, fluency, terminology, consistency, or style

## Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Terminology Management, or a related field

- Minimum 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content and conducting quality checks in the specified subject matter

- Proven experience in terminology management, preferably in a professional setting or specialized industry

- Knowledge of database management, data entry, and file management processes

- Strong understanding of terminology specific to the automotive industry, with an emphasis on trucks and buses part denominations and technologies

- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and precision in terminology management

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders
