## Description

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join its Professional Services team within the Customer Success Group (CSG). The successful candidate will work as part of a team demonstrating technical thought leadership of customer and partner engagements, leading to the successful delivery of solutions, including enterprise integrations using middleware tools and platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Become a highly certified and recognized Salesforce expert

- Help clients consistently meet/exceed goals and metrics

- Contribute to customer success through front and backend solution development and release management

- Deliver high client satisfaction (CSAT)

- Provide guidance on the application and integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, functional and technical solution architecture & design, environment management, testing, and Salesforce Platform education

- Drive the creation of application and technical design documents which leverage Salesforce best practices and effectively integrate Salesforce into the customer’s infrastructure

- Troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and demonstrate the ability to drive to a successful resolution

- Identify and proactively manage risk areas and commit to seeing an issue through to complete resolution

- Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners

- Build relationships with business partners, internal and external, and contribute to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of a single customer engagement

Requirements:

- Hands-on technical and solution implementation experience in a relevant software domain, as well as coding experience in object-oriented languages

- Minimum of 8 years' experience in professional services

- Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration

- Ability to support customers and project members in rationalizing and deploying emerging technology

- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team

- Ability to learn new technologies as well as good presentation, communication, and facilitation skills

- Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally depending on customer needs

- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required

- Proficiency in English and Italian languages

- Strong background in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java) and understanding of REST/SOAP API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures

Preferred Qualifications:

- Salesforce Certifications

- Experience with the Salesforce Platform and/or other CRM products

- Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud and/or other products in the billing and revenue space (Conga, CloudSense, Zuora)

- Ability to build and manage relationships both internally and externally

- Experience working in a senior consulting or technical lead role working with matrix teams at a top-tier consultancy or system integrator

- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools

Benefits:

- The typical base salary range for this position is EUR 56,000 to EUR 77,000 annually

- In addition to the base salary, this position may offer access to a range of additional benefits including an incentive component which is tailored by grade level
