## Description

Visa, a world leader in payments technology, is seeking a Sr. Manager to lead a team responsible for reviewing business requirements and developing functional and technical design documentation.

The Sr. Manager will oversee the design and implementation of testing procedures for APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns to address distributed computing challenges, including end-to-end and integration testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review business requirements and develop functional and technical design documentation.

- Design and implement testing procedures for APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns, including end-to-end and integration tests.

- Participate in design reviews to provide input on requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential issues.

- Ensure team productivity, predictability, and delivery of high-quality results.

- Review code and maintain accountability for the team’s development and testing activities.

- Participate in proof of concepts and technical evaluations of new technologies.

The Sr. Manager is expected to foster a collaborative environment, ensuring the team meets business needs and delivers robust solutions.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

**Qualifications**

Basic Qualifications:

- 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in reviewing business requirements and developing technical documentation.

- Experience in designing and implementing testing procedures for APIs and integration patterns.

- Experience in participating in design reviews and providing input on product designs and schedules.

- Experience in leading teams to ensure productivity and high-quality delivery.

- Experience in code review and accountability for development/testing activities.

- Experience in technical evaluations and proof of concepts for new technologies.

- Experience in managing distributed computing challenges.

- Experience in fostering team collaboration and meeting business needs.

- Experience in delivering robust solutions in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in integrating emerging technologies into software engineering practices.
