## Description

Join our friendly, forward-thinking Merchandising department as an Assistant Merchandiser, helping us land commercial plans that feel fresh and effortless. You will work hand in hand with our Buying team, turning trade figures into actionable insights, predicting customer trends, and keeping an eye on profitability.

Responsibilities:

- Build seasonal range frameworks using sales and profit analysis

- Live and breathe weekly trade alongside your team, reacting swiftly and smartly to consumer habits

- Balance the range by adjusting intake and allocations as the season unfolds

- Master the detail by taking ownership of department forecasts and performance tracking

- Build trusted partnerships with external suppliers and internal teams

- Guide future collections by sharing your findings with key decision-makers

Requirements:

- Experience within a similar Assistant Merchandiser role or a relevant retail degree

- Comfort with numbers and spreadsheets, turning raw data into clear commercial opportunities

- Proactive, adaptable attitude with a great sense of humour

- Genuine appreciation for British heritage, timeless craftsmanship, and Joules' signature preppy aesthetic

- Strong communication skills and confidence to present commercial insights
