## Description

As a Usability Rapid Researcher (Contract) on the user experience team at Reddit, you'll drive the understanding of user behavior, motivations, and experiences with our platform. You'll partner with our product and design teams to understand users and how we can improve their experiences.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead usability-focused research studies across consumer teams that drive changes in product design and strategy. This includes designing and executing on unmoderated, moderated usability testing, and user interviews through a rapid research program.

You'll work closely with cross-functional partners, including design, product management, engineers, and product marketing, to ensure that your research insights are used to inform business and product decisions.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be able to combine your skills in research design and qualitative interviewing and analysis to improve the user experience. You should also be comfortable working in ambiguity and complex cross-functional collaborations.

We're looking for someone with 3+ years of professional experience conducting user research, preferably with experience conducting remote research. You should be flexible, adaptable, and able to work fairly independently on a variety of tasks.
