## Description

GSK is looking for a Medical Representative to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals in Erode, sharing science-based information to support better patient care.

The role involves creating and delivering a territory plan focused on local needs and customer insights, collaborating with colleagues to address challenges and improve patient access.

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain respectful relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare partners

- Develop and execute a territory business plan based on customer insight and local patient needs

- Share clear and accurate science-based information to support healthcare professionals' decision-making

- Record and report activities, outcomes, and customer insights accurately

- Collaborate with colleagues across functions to address customer needs and improve patient access

- Continuously expand knowledge of clinical evidence, market trends, and ways to enhance performance

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution

- Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience in field sales, medical business, or territory management

- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil

- Basic digital skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Right to work in India

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare roles

- Comfortable discussing clinical evidence and explaining scientific concepts to healthcare professionals

- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills

- Ability to use customer insight and simple data to guide activities and priorities

- Fluency in Tamil and other local languages spoken in and around Erode

- High motivation to learn, adapt, and take on increasing responsibility
