## Description

We are seeking a Lead Android Engineer to join our mobile platform engineering team. As a Lead Android Engineer, you will set the pace for multiple mobile engineering teams and take ownership of the fully native mobile apps that our customers love.

You will work with a variety of technologies, including Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, and AWS. You will also be responsible for designing new product iterations, evaluating technical risks, and coaching and mentoring more junior engineers.

**Responsibilities**

- Set the pace for multiple mobile engineering teams and take ownership of the fully native mobile apps

- Design new product iterations, thinking strategically about architectural decisions and communicating to stakeholders

- Evaluate technical risks while coaching and mentoring more junior engineers

- Act as a technical evangelist, advocating for approaches like Pair Programming, TDD, and BDD

- Enjoy automation, unified deployment pipelines, and automated testing
