## Description

This is a great time to join The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as the Interim Financial Accountant. The Trust is currently redeveloping the hospital to provide a new state-of-the-art facility for the residents of Hillingdon. The successful candidate will assist in completing the Trust's monthly and annual NHSE returns, support the Head of Financial Services and Financial Controller, and manage the Trust's Balance Sheet.

The role involves:

- Assisting in the completion of the Trust's monthly and annual NHSE returns

- Supporting the Head of Financial Services and Financial Controller throughout the year-end process and rollout of new Oracle Fusion finance system

- Managing and providing effective leadership to cash management, VAT, and Charitable Funds

- Supporting staff development within the Financial Services team

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, a minor injuries unit, and outpatient clinics.

The salary for this position is £63,665 to £70,887 per annum, depending on experience. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, working full-time.

The ideal candidate will have a CCAB Professional Accountancy qualification, additional specialist knowledge on accounting for charitable funds, and the ability to work autonomously.
