## Description

We are seeking a Packaging Operator to join our team at our Wisbech plant. As a Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet customer specifications and are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and food integrity.

**Job Summary** The purpose of this role is to operate packaging lines, conduct quality assurance checks, and maintain a clean and safe working environment. You will be responsible for operating Ishida multi-heads, bagging machines, and packaging lines, as well as completing quality assurance checks and paperwork.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Operate Ishida multi-heads, bagging machines, and packaging lines

- Conduct quality assurance checks and complete paperwork

- Record checks in QA Upstream and complete MCS data as required

- Ensure metal detectors accurately check for metal in packaging

- Conduct asset care for bagging machines and maintain a clean working area

- Support customer audits and complete thorough handovers at the end of each shift

- Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and GMP practices

- Carry out sanitation duties and report any issues to supervisors or managers

**Requirements**

- Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)

- 2-3 years of manufacturing experience

- SAP/SCADA experience

- Lamb Weston chemical training, H+S, GMP, and CCP
